Meeting Room Booking with Automatic Access in Genetec Security Center

The ADXBOOKR plugin connects the booking of your spaces to access control in Genetec's open Security Center platform. Meeting rooms, coworking spaces, rooms shared between several companies in the same building: every booking gives the attendee access to the right room, at the right time, with no double entry.

• Book: web portal with an interactive calendar, or directly from Outlook through the Microsoft 365 integration (option). Requests subject to approval and automatic assignment of a free room that fits the number of attendees.

• Access: the cardholder, credential, schedule and access rule are created automatically in Security Center. Each attendee receives an access QR code by email; employees use their usual badge. Access is removed on cancellation and after the meeting.

• Administer: companies, administrators and users, public or private rooms, room time ranges assigned to each company, booking quotas, office mode, number of attendees and combinable rooms (2 rooms in 1).

• Move a meeting with the mouse, after confirmation: attendees are notified by email and receive their new QR code

In Config Tool, the ADXBOOKR plugin offers the following settings:

• Web portal port and HTTPS certificate (created automatically if none is provided)
• "Super Administrator" accounts that configure access
• Resources: Outlook room, number of attendees, office mode, public or private room, parent/child rooms (2 rooms in 1)
• SMTP account for sending emails
• Web portal address used in emails
• Custom field that identifies employees
• Role status: startup, web portal and entity loading

Microsoft 365

Our plugin integrates with Microsoft 365 tools:


• Outlook (Desktop, Web and Mobile): book and manage rooms directly from your Outlook calendar, without leaving your usual work environment. Attendees receive their access just as for a booking made on the portal.
• Microsoft Teams: changes made to a meeting in Teams (date, time, attendee removal) are applied to the booking.
This integration simplifies scheduling and optimizes the use of meeting spaces, within the Microsoft tools you already use every day.
